Solitude magazine looks at the themes of isolation in crowded spaces, specifically the feeling of loneliness in London. Throughout the magazine, ideas of what loneliness is, how important the discussion of it in London is, first-hand

experiences and how we can tackle this, are explored through the medium of illustrations, question and answer and established talks. The idea stemmed from the fact that people can sometimes feel lonelier when they are surrounded by others, for example not having close relationships in the workplace, living in a block of flats with no connection to others in the building and on public transport where it is typically frowned upon to be sociable. Being alone in a crowd, especially one the size of a city, is a very overwhelming feeling. This magazine aims to shine a light on those in the dark and bring awareness to a subject that is at times left behind closed doors.
